How to tell if it’s really ANZ
ANZ says it will never:
- ask you for your banking PINs, passwords or security codes
- send you a link to log in to Internet Banking, so type anz.co.nz yourself
- ask you to download software onto your devices
- ask you to give anyone remote access to your devices
ANZ’s Caller Check asks you to confirm a call inside the goMoney app. ANZ will never send a Caller Check request by email, text, WhatsApp or any other messaging app, so one that arrives that way is a scam.
