How to tell if it’s really One NZ
One NZ says it will never:
- contact you unexpectedly to ask for sensitive information, including full card details, one-time PINs, or biometric verification over the phone
- contact you out of the blue to reissue or upgrade your modem
- ask for access to your bank cards, or offer to help with your banking
- ask you to screen share or give remote access to your device
- ask you to install an app, other than the One NZ app or the Deco app when setting up your modem
An official One NZ email address ends in one.nz.
